Do you find you are dealing with behaviours such as shouting out, children out of their seat, lack of concentration, inability to persist with a challenging task, struggling to engage with their peer group on the playground?
Executive Function is a research-based strategy that we can use to help our children develop skills to begin addressing some of these issues. This webinar will explain Executive Function, why it is so important and how we can help develop it.
Participants will recieve a bank of resources to use in your own classrooms for the successful implementation of the strategy, as well as a website for support which the facilitator has created.
Facilitator -
Louise Gillespie has completed research in relation to a whole-school positive behaviour management strategy that uses little to no resources, no additional support and can be implemented in any classroom setting! Louise will look at the strategy of developing children’s cognitive function, specifically Executive Function through simple, play-based learning which in turn can develop children’s ability to problem-solve, think critically, develop working memory, become more resilient and persistent, to name just a few.
After registration a link will be sent out to registrants in advance of this webinar.
