This webinar covers Senior Primary from 3rd to 6th class
The tutor demonstrates how well known works of art and free online resources can enhance pupil engagement with the Art curriculum.
It highlights practical and fun activities for pupil engagement in Art appreciation and familiarisation with world famous art galleries through a virtual lens.
About the tutor:
Saoirse Walsh is a tutor for Visual Arts Appreciation with the Irish Department of Education and Skills. A wide interest in the whole area of the arts, she completed her degree in History of Art at undergraduate level in University College Dublin and a Masters in Fine and Decorative Art at Sotheby's Institute of Art in London. She is widely experienced in the provision of arts education to primary school education through the operation of summer camps in the area of the arts over the last ten years. She is currently working in the museum sector in London and will commence a PhD in History of Art in 2021.
