Building Phonological Awareness, Phonemic Awareness and Phonics in a meaningful way

This webinar will take participants on the eight stage journey children take in learning to read and investigate resources to support children at each stage of their journey.

  1. Phonological Awareness: Participants will gain a deep understanding of phonological awareness and its importance in early literacy development, enabling them to identify and implement effective strategies to enhance this skill in children.

  1. Phonemic Awareness: Attendees will learn how to develop phonemic awareness in children through engaging and meaningful activities, improving their ability to recognize and manipulate individual sounds in words.

  1. Phonics Instruction: Learners will explore best practices for teaching phonics in a way that is both meaningful and effective, equipping them with the tools to support children's reading and writing skills.

Each participant will receive a resource pack to accompany the webinar.
