Restorative Practice – Trauma Informed & Healing Centred (Connecting Deeper)
This webinar is aimed at all those who work in education.
It highlights the critical theory, beliefs and values of the restorative philosophy to ensure that the practices are trauma-informed and healing - centred. It highlights an understanding of the ACE model and how the symptoms of Adverse Childhood Experiences can show up in our classrooms.
It introduces Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model to support us to understand how both stress and connection can affect the brain and how we learn.
It aims to move away from strategies that seek to promote conformity and towards ways of relational thinking and being that promote connection, community and effective teaching.
